Former CJ Singh had passed away at the age of 89 on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On last Thursday, a joint bench of Justices Bam Kumar Shrestha and Kumar Regmi, after hearing the case, said it would give the final verdict on March 4.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The then CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist-Center) had registered their party\u2019s name as Nepal Communist Party at the Election Commission following their unification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prior to it, Nepal Communist Party had been registered under the leadership of Rishi Ram Kattel at the EC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On November 21, 2018, Kattel had moved the SC against the EC complaining that the similar name was registered against his party\u2019s name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KATHMANDU &#8211; The Supreme Court (SC) is not issuing a final verdict on the case related to the dispute surrounding the name of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on Thursday.
