Following the demand of Madhav Nepal-faction of the CPN (UML), the main governing party is preparing to convene its central committee meeting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bishnu Paudel, deputy general secretary of CPN (UML) said that the party is planning to hold its central committee meeting. He said that they are discussing a plan to hold the central committee meeting on March 14.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, the date for the central committee meeting will be finalized by CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli and General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel, according to CPN (UML) leaders. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This will be the first central committee meeting of the ruling CPN (UML) after the Supreme Court scrapped its merger with CPN (Maoist Center) in a verdict to overturn the decision of the Election Commission to provide the name Nepal Communist Party (NCP) to the merged party.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Nepal-faction\u2019s meeting held on Thursday had decided to call for the central committee meeting of the party.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KATHMANDU &#8211; CPN (UML) is preparing to hold its central committee meeting.
