Party President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel, Vice Presidents Purna Bahadur Khadka and Dhanraj Gurung and General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwo Prakash Sharma jointly made public the election manifesto named ‘Sankalpa’ amid a function at the party central office at Sanepa, Lalitpur today. The manifesto prepared by a taskforce coordinated by General Secretary Thapa has reviewed works of the government since 2074 BS. The manifesto incorporates party policies and principle, standards of good governance and responsibility of people’s representatives. Similarly, it has pointed out duties and responsibilities of mayor and deputy mayor, chair and vice chair, ward chair and members at local levels. It has pledged to utilise revenues collected from people in productive sectors and not to resort to the misuse of government properties and destruction of natural resources.
