Meeting between UN Secretary-General and DPM Khadka underway

KATHMANDU – A meeting between visiting United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense, Purna Bahadur Khadka, is underway at the Singha Durbar.

Prior to this, Defense secretary Kiran Raj Sharma welcomed the UN Secretary-General to the Ministry. At Singha Durbar, the UN Secretary-General is scheduled to call on Prime Minister Pusha Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli. Similarly, he will pay a courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel today itself.

He arrived in Kathmandu today on a four-day official trip to Nepal.
