Ruling NCP secretariat meeting decides to convene standing committee on December 3, another secretariat meeting to be held next Saturday

Prime Minister and NCP co-chair Oli to present another political report in the upcoming secretariat meeting


KATHMANDU – The Nepal Communist Party’s secretariat meeting has decided to convene the standing committee meeting of the party. The secretariat meeting held today decided to call the standing committee meeting for December 3.

Narayan Kaji Shrestha, NCP’s Spokesperson, said that today’s secretariat meeting decided to hold the standing committee meeting on December 3 and postpone the central committee meeting until December 10. The central committee meeting of the party was earlier scheduled for December 3.

Similarly, the secretariat meeting also decided to hold the next meeting of the secretariat on November 28, according to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa.

Prime Minister and NCP co-chair Oli, Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Senior Leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal, Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam, General Secretary Bishnu Paudel, Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Ram Bahadur Thapa and Ishwor Pokhrel were present in today’s nine-member secretariat meeting.

Prime Minister and party co-chair Oli is scheduled to present another report in the upcoming secretariat meeting. Based on the report, secretariat members will discuss the ongoing disputes and problems in the ruling party, according to party leaders.
