Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, informed that the total number of infected people in Nepal has reached 51,919. Similarly, 972 infected people have been discharged in the last 24 hours. So far, 36,672 corona infections have been cured in Nepal, said spokesperson Gautam. The number of people living in home isolation is 6,634. 14,925 are currently actively infected with the virus. In the last 24 hours, 10,701 PCRs have been tested. Five more people have died in Nepal in the last 24 hours, making the death toll reach 322.
