गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ CDO of Kanchanpur transferred to Ministry of Home Affairs Nepal CDO of Kanchanpur transferred to Ministry of Home Affairs KathmanduPati September 03, 2020 KATHMANDU: The Chief District Officer of Kanchanpur, Nurhari Khatiwada, has been shifted to the Ministry of Home Affairs after he was found working outside his jurisdiction, for not managing the border properly, and for setting up a customs office and mobilizing the army there. Khatiwada had set up a temporary border outpost (BOP) of the Armed Police Force at the customs against the order of the Home Ministry, when there already was a BOP of the armed forces at Gauriphanta under Kailali. Similarly, he had also mobilized security personnel at Gauriphanta area without coordinating with the CDO of Kailali. The ministry has appointed Ram Kumar Mahato as the Chief District officer to replace Khatiwada.
