Vehicular movement on the highway had been obstructed since Monday evening due to a landslide that occurred in Rakse of the Badigad rural municipality. One-way traffic has resumed on the highway after landslide debris deposited on the road were removed using an excavator, said Dhal Prasad Sherchan, Chair of Badigad rural municipality’s ward no 2. Vehicles operating to and from the western part of the district via Baglung Bazaar, the district headquarters, had been stranded after the road was disrupted. The landslide has also damaged five houses in the locality.
