The woman passed away in the course of treatment at the Birtamode-based B & C Hospital. According to ward no 6 chairperson Lalit Tamang, the elderly woman had been admitted to the Hospital this week after developing respiratory complications. She was being treated at the ICU of the Hospital when she was diagnosed with pneumonia. According to her grandsons, she had tested positive for COVID-19 on October 26.
