Addressing a ceremony to mark the 65th Nepal Police Day, Home Minister Badal said that underground outfits were trying to collect donations and obstruct development projects under a political cover. “The underground outfits are trying to collect donations, obstruct development works and create hassles for citizens to exercise their rights by challenging the constitutional achievements,” said Home Minister Badal. “The Nepal Police shall not compromise anywhere on the collection and analysis of information and field operations to foil such alliances and outfits,” he added. Stating that the police were more informed and professional on crime and criminology, he urged the force to move ahead by analyzing the trends of crimes. He also expressed his commitment to provide necessary support to the Nepal Police.
