The parliamentary party meeting of the NCP held on Tuesday morning rejected the no-confidence motion registered against Chief Minister Shahi. According to the NCP, 18 members voted against the no-confidence motion while none of the members voted in favor of it. Earlier on October 11, 18 members of the provincial assembly had registered a no-confidence motion at the parliamentary party against Chief Minister Shahi. However, only 11 members supporting the no-confidence motion had attended the meeting called by the then party Chief Whip Gulab Jung Shah.
