The snowfall took place in the district for the second time this year, following once earlier on November 3 this year. According to local Raj Bahadur Bohara, the temperature has fallen sharply in the district with continuous snowfall continuing on Sunday and Monday. Temperature has decreased to-7 degree Celsius in Humla. The snow has whitened the entire northern Humla district, with people enjoying it. Farmers, especially, were very happy with the snowfall on Sunday morning in hopes of an opportune time for crop cultivation. The snowfall will help make the barren land cultivable at a time when there was a long spell of drought, locals said. Though Humla’s weather has been clear since this morning, the mountains have been covered with thick snow causing a fall in the temperature.
