गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Chair Prachanda expresses sorrow over demise of Swanam Nepal Chair Prachanda expresses sorrow over demise of Swanam KathmanduPati December 26, 2020 File photo KATHMANDU – Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has extended sorrow over the demise of party national advisory council member Swanam Sathi (Shashi Sherchan). Swanam passed away Friday night in course of treatment at Model Hospital in the capital. While issuing a condolence message today, chair Prachanda mentioned that late communist leader Swanam had firm determination and contribution in the progressive political and cultural movements in the country. Swanam is considered an inspirational figure to all proletarians in the country. Chair Prachanda extended condolences to the bereaved family. Swanam was born on 17th Shrawan 2007 BS in Darbang-2of Myagdi district. Swanam had received the member of communist party in 2025 BS and had later on established Proletarian Communist League in 2033 BS. He had also launched peasants’ revolution in 2038 BS forming Proletarian Workers Organization Nepal.
