According to the Department of Hydro and Meteorology, the lowest temperature was recorded 0.8 degree Celsisus at 9 am. Jumla recorded the lowest temperature today standing at – 8.5 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature in Dipayal and Birendranagar fell to 0.4 degree Celsius and 1.9 degree Celsius respectively. MFD predicts that the temperature could further dip as winter advances. Meteorologists warn cold waves are likely in some parts of the country.
