Prime Minister Oli has held the discussion with the members of the House of Representatives that the government had dissolved on Sunday, according to Surya Thapa, Prime Minister Oli’s Press Advisor. During the meeting, he briefed them about the government decision to dissolve the parliament and go for the midterm election. According to a member who was present in the meeting, Prime Minister Oli instructed the parliamentarians of his camp to remain prepared for the split of the ruling NCP. Lekharaj Bhatta, who became the minister from Pushpan Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ camp, was also in the meeting. However, Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ remained absent from the meeting.
