Announcing his backing to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli-led Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Bohora on Wednesday stepped down as the Economic Affairs and Planning Minister of Sudurpashchim. Former Maoist leader Bohora is considered to be close to Federal Industry Minister Lekhraj Bhatta who has joined the Oli-led NCP. In his resignation letter, Minister Bohora stated that investment-friendly structures have been built during his tenure. He also said that the Sudurpashchim stood at the top of the list of provinces in spending capital budget by following fiscal discipline during his tenure.
