The meeting of NCP led by Prachanda-Nepal faction held on Saturday decided to announce a fresh protest program against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s move to dissolve the House of Representatives and set dates for midterm election. A standing committee member of Prachanda-led NCP said that the party is preparing to announce stern protest against the unconstitutional decision of the government to dissolve the House. Though the rival faction had prepared to protest jointly with Nepali Congress, the main opposition party’s plan to participate in the midterm election is likely to leave the NCP alone on the street.
