Speaking at a program in the capital on Saturday, the newly appointed Chief Whip also said that they are ready to show the lawmakers’ support if needed in the House of Representatives. “There are rumors spread by the rival faction that Prime Minister Oli is in minority in the parliamentary party. But he is in the majority. We are ready to show that if needed. If you talk about the number, he enjoys support of over a hundred House Representatives,” he said. He also said that they are ready to face the no-confidence motion in the House. Stating that the parliamentary party meeting will be held before the House session starts on March 7, he urged the rival faction led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal to attend the meeting. He also warned action against those House members of the party who do not obey the party whip.
