Issuing a notice today, President Bhandari said that Top Bahadur Raymajhi has been appointed as Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Lekhraj Bhatta as Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Prabhu Sah as Minister for Urban Development and Gauri Shankar Chaudhary as Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security. The reappointment comes a day after they lost their seats in the House of Representatives which also led to their removal as ministers in line with a constitutional provision. Though they were removed as lawmakers by CPN (Maoist Center) after they joined CPN (UML), Prime Minister Oli reappointed them as ministers based on a constitutional provision that allows him to appoint non-lawmaker as a minister for six months.
