गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ NC parliamentary party meeting set for Sunday Politics NC parliamentary party meeting set for Sunday KathmanduPati July 17, 2021 KATHMANDU – The parliamentary party meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) is scheduled to take place at the parliament building in New Baneswor at 2.00 pm on Sunday. The parliamentary party meeting is taking place first time after party President and parliamentary party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba became the Prime Minster. Member of Parliament (MP) Dr Dila Sangraula told RSS that the parliamentary party meeting will be held at 2.00 pm on Sunday in New Baneswor-based parliamentary building. The meeting will discuss the roles of the parliamentary party and the parliament in the changed political context after the NC ascended to the power last week. Nepali Congress which has been discharging the role of main opposition party in the parliament following the 2074 BS elections came to take the government leadership under its President Deuba. Sangraula further shared that the meeting will also discuss party’s role in the parliament taking into consideration the contemporary political context. The parliament meeting has been called for 4.00 pm on Sunday afternoon. Likewise, a meeting of the parliamentary business advisory committee has been scheduled for 10.00 am on the same day.
