गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Lalitpur DAO shuts down all but essential services Nepal Lalitpur DAO shuts down all but essential services KathmanduPati January 19, 2022 KATHMANDU – The District Administration Office in Lalitpur has decided to temporarily shut down its regular services except for the essential ones for the service-seekers from coming Thursday in view of the growing risk of Omicron variant of COVID-19. Issuing a notice signed by Chief District Officer Ghanashyam Upadhyay here today, the district administration office said that some of its staffers had contracted COVID-19 and the infection cases were alarmingly on the rise which has led to closure of the services provided by administration office until further notice. The office will, however, provide essential services such as law and order related works and cases of urgent hearing during this period. Regular services such as citizenship identity card related works, national identity cards, passport related works among others have been shut down indefinitely, the notice said.
