गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Ruling parties urge PM Deuba to take initiatives to end stalemate in parliament Politics Ruling parties urge PM Deuba to take initiatives to end stalemate in parliament KathmanduPati January 07, 2022 KATHMANDU – Top leaders of the ruling parties have urged Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba to take initiatives in ending impasse in the federal parliament. Attending the meeting of the five ruling partners at the official residence of the PM in Baluwatar on Friday, they suggested that the PM held dialogue with chairperson of the main opposition CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli to this effect, said Beduram Bhusal, General Secretary of the CPN (Unified Socialist). The attending parties- the NC, the CPN (Maoist Centre), the US, the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal and the Rastriya Janamorcha- agreed to organise additional discussion following a dialogue with chair Oli on the matter. The UML has been obstructing the parliament session since the beginning, putting forth its demands. The meeting also discussed issues of ensuring victory to the candidates from the alliance in the National Assembly election scheduled for January 12. The coalition has already registered nomination of common candidates for the election.
