गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Upper House begins deliberations on principle of budget Politics Upper House begins deliberations on principle of budget KathmanduPati May 31, 2022 File Photo KATHMANDU – Deliberations on the principle of the estimates of income and expenditure for the fiscal year, 2022/23 have begun in today’s session of the National Assembly, the Upper House of the Federal Parliament. This followed the proposal of Finance Minister to hold general deliberation on the budget. Chair of the Upper House Ganesh Prasad Timilsina called a House meeting to deliberate on the principle of budget and to respond to queries on the matter for May 31 and June 1. Budget is presented in the parliament in the Nepali month Jeth 15 (around May-end) every year as per the constitution.
