Attending today’s session of the House of Representatives, he demanded that the parliament be informed about problems facing the share market, an indication of the entire economy of the country, for the progress of not only investors, but the whole country’s economy. The market should not face instability because of policy-related issues despite its ups and downs caused by many factors like a crunch of liquidity, the Nepali Congress leader said. Policies of the security market should be sustainable, he demanded. The whole investors should know about what the government and regulators including the Finance Ministry, the Nepal Rastra Bank and the Securities Board of Nepal have been doing to protect them especially small-scale investors, he stated. “Investments into the market have been at risk due to related unstable policies. A way out should be sought soon.” Write your comments RELATED NEWS Home Minister responds to criticism over rescue Home Minister Says hope remains after tunnel rescues PM Shah and Australian counterpart discuss flood rescue efforts Mustang customs office struggles without permanent infrastructure 15 militants trying to infiltrate through Afghanistan border killed: Pakistan… Lawmaker faces voters’ anger over flood response Top Headlines Monsoon is predictable and Nepal’s disaster response should be too1 Nepal “a Buffer State”: Rethinking foreign policy in relative terms2 Promotion Linked to Future Military Leadership: Major General Magar Could Become Army Chief3 When the State Pulls the Trigger, Who Answers ?4 Before the Ballots: How Oli Lost the Political Narrative5 Nepal’s Political Renaissance: The rise of the RSP, the re-ordering of the old political order and the political path forward6 Balen’s Silence Has Invited Curiosity, Confusion, and Concerns7 Jagdamba Group Chairman Shankar Agrawal Arrested8 TRENDING A phone call that paved the way for RAW Chief’s visit to Nepal “Ranju Darshana: Government has been using superiority approach to handling pandemic” Former PM Bhattarai felicitates Indian taekwondo head coach Jaigadi After visitors’ uptick, Barju lake gets facelift as new destination in eastern Terai Pandemic may not halt festivities Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan now coronavirus free CAN categorizes cricketers and signs contracts 16 DSPs recommended for promotion to SPs (With Recommendation List)
