On the amendment of the constitution being demanded by some quarters, the leader said, “Constitution is not unchangeable, it can be amended if need be.” He was speaking at a press conference organised here today by the Province 1 committee, Press Chautari Nepal. Claiming that the UML would secure a win in the coming federal and provincial elections, he said the party was ready to go for the polls. “There might be an electoral alliance as per need at local level.” In another context, he said Province 1 should be named as per a common consensus and the decision accordingly should be acceptable to all while stating that the authority of naming the province is solely vested on the Province Assembly of the province.
