गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ CPN ( Unified Socialist) to give vote of confidence to Dahal-led government Politics CPN ( Unified Socialist) to give vote of confidence to Dahal-led government KathmanduPati January 10, 2023 File Photo KATHMANDU – The CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to support the incumbent government led by CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. A meeting of the party held today under the chair of Madhav Kumar Nepal, the party chair, at the party central office decided to give a vote of confidence to the coalition government also involving the CPN (UML). According to party deputy general-secretary Jagannath Khatiwada, the party is to support the government. Prior to this, the party’s politburo meeting and the latest secretariat meeting agreed to clear its stand to this regard after analyzing the common minimum programme of the government which was unveiled on Monday. The party has 10 members in the House of Representatives. Prime Minister Dahal who was appointed the Prime Minister on December 25 with the support of 169 lawmakers would be seeking a vote of confidence in the parliament today.
