गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Business ∕ Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis releases budget of Rs 1.93 billion Business Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis releases budget of Rs 1.93 billion KathmanduPati June 26, 2023 KATHMANDU – Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City has brought a budget of Rs 1.93 billion for coming fiscal year 2080/81 BS. Presenting the budget for coming fiscal year in the 10th municipal assembly of the sub-metropolis on Sunday, Deputy Mayor Kandakala Kumari Rana said Rs 1.17 billion has been estimated towards current expenditure and Rs 756.3 million towards capital expenditure. The highest 44 per cent of the total budget has been allocated towards social development which is Rs 853.6 million. A total of Rs 354 million to be received as internal income and Rs 469 million from revenue distribution, Rs 928 million from intergovernmental fiscal transfer. The budget has given priority to management of encroached public property, easy access of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis folks to basic needs including quality education, health and drinking water, commercialization of agriculture, livestock, industry and tourism sector, sustainable infrastructure development, sanitation and urban development.
