Eight people can use a lift at once. The local government allocated Rs 50 million to implement the project in the current fiscal year. As Shrestha said, a bidding process has neared the final phase and it will be materialized in a week. Some volunteers will be mobilised to supervise the elevators. The local government is also focused on improving conditions of roadways within its jurisdictions and allocated Rs 440 million for the plan in the current fiscal year.
