In a meeting of Federalism Strengthening and National Concern Committee of the National Assembly, DPM Lamichhane underlined, “Budget will be managed itself if there is willpower. Arrangement of necessary tools should be made for disaster management. Saving the life of citizens during disaster is the first priority. At first, attention should be paid on the priority. The government has been making efforts for disaster management. We are exercising integrated system.” He laid emphasis on the need of preparedness for the reduction of losses caused by disaster. The DPM mentioned, “A broad discussion should be held about the budget required for disaster management.
