Minister for Social Development Hari Prabha Khadgi Shrestha had presented a proposal seeking passage of the bill. The meeting also endorsed the proposal related to change of members of various thematic committees of the Assembly. Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama, the outgoing Chief Minister Shalikram Jammakattel, the outgoing minister for internal affairs and law Ganga Narayan Shrestha have been added to the Province Affairs Committee. Similarly, outgoing minister for physical infrastructure development, Yuba Raj Dulal and the outgoing minister for forests and environment Keshav Pokharel have been appointed members on the Public Account Committee while the outgoing social development minister Kumari Moktan is appointed member of the Health, Education and Agriculture Committee. Province Assembly Speaker Bhuwan Kumar Pathak has postponed today’s meeting of the Assembly until further notice.
