गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Business ∕ Number of stock broker companies reaches 90 Business Number of stock broker companies reaches 90 KathmanduPati November 14, 2024 File Photo KATHMANDU – The number of stock broker companies permitted to carry out transaction in the secondary stock market has reached 90. Eighty-two stock broker companies had got the permission for stock transaction in the secondary market in the last fiscal year, 2023/24 and eight more companies have been given the permission, Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) said. NEPSE said that 90 stock broker member companies have been issued license as of this October 16 for share transactions. Similarly, the membership of two companies has been renewed as stock dealers for the current fiscal year. They are the Nagarik Stock Dealer Company Limited and Nabil Stock Dealer Limited, according to NEPSE. Out of the stock broker companies registered so far, two companies have got permission for carrying out full transactions while the rest 88 for carrying out limited transactions. The companies getting permission for carrying out full transaction are NIMB Stock Markets Limited and Himalayan Securities Limited.
