The Commission has urged the Nepal Police Headquarters to identify the responsible for the offence took place at the Tribhuvan University’s cricket ground in Kirtipur and bring them under a purview of law. The Commission’s attention has been drawn to such incidence capable of jeopardizing social harmony if the State and the police administration did not act sensitively against this, it is said. Commission’s Chair Dr Vijay Kumar Datta has said that it has been decided to form a high-level team led by Commission member Jiwachha Shah to carry out a field inspection and visit those injured in the incident to take a further move regarding the incident.
