According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold reached Rs 222,500 per tola on Friday. Similarly, the price of silver has also climbed to Rs 2,740 per tola. On Thursday, the price of gold was fixed at Rs 221,300 per tola and silver at Rs 2,685 per tola. Within a single day, the price of gold increased by Rs 1,200 per tola and silver by Rs 55 per tola, the Association stated. The Association added that Thursday’s silver price had been the highest ever recorded so far.
