Amid various groups announcing protests, Minister Aryal has convened the security committee meeting. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 3 PM at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Aryal has called the meeting to discuss security arrangements for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21, as well as the protest announced by Durga Prasai. The meeting will discuss the current security situation, information regarding the protests, and election security issues. Participants in the meeting will include the Secretary of the Home Ministry, a General from the Nepal Army, the Inspectors General of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, the Chief of the National Investigation Department, and the head of the Peace and Security Division of the Ministry, among others.
