गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Breaking ∕ Dr Khatri appointed Vice Chair of Medical Education Commission Breaking Dr Khatri appointed Vice Chair of Medical Education Commission KathmanduPati July 07, 2026 Kathmandu- Prof. Dr. Devendra Khatri has been appointed as the Vice Chairperson of the Medical Education Commission. Prime Minister and the Chairman of the commission, Balendra Shah, appointed Prof. Khatri as the vice chair of the commission. Minister for Education and Sports and Co-chair of the commission, Sasmit Pokhrel, presented the appointment letter to the newly appointed vice chair Prof Khatri at the ministry today. Earlier, since the vice-chairperson position was vacant in the commission, former vice-chairperson Shrikrishna Giri was given the responsibility of acting vice-chairperson until another arrangement was made. After the government issued an ordinance made for special arrangements regarding the dismissal of public officials, officials including the commission’s vice-chair Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha were dismissed. After that, the vice-chair position of the commission was vacant.
