गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Breaking ∕ Bangladesh offers support after deadly disaster Breaking Bangladesh offers support after deadly disaster KathmanduPati August 27, 2026 Kathmandu [Nepal], August 27- Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman held a telephone conversation on Thursday to discuss Nepal’s ongoing search, rescue and relief operations following Wednesday’s disaster. During the call, Khanal thanked the Bangladesh government for offering assistance to Nepal in response to the disaster. Khanal said Nepal would maintain close coordination with Bangladesh regarding any support required in the coming days. The conversation comes as Nepal continues emergency response efforts in areas affected by the disaster, with authorities focused on search and rescue operations, relief delivery and assistance to affected communities. Both sides discussed cooperation in addressing the immediate humanitarian needs arising from the disaster.
