The decision was made during a cabinet meeting according to Dipa Dahal, press and research adviser to the prime minister. Ukyab specializes in public policy and holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Oxford. She previously served as a Senior Policy Adviser at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Pacific Regional Office. Her appointment comes as the Investment Board Nepal continues to oversee major domestic and foreign investment projects aimed at promoting the country’s economic development.
