Kathmandu [Nepal], August 20 – MAW Vriddhi Motors has launched the Nami VIGO E2 electric SUV in Nepal at a special introductory price of Rs 3.599 million.
The promotional price will remain valid only until the end of the NADA auto show after which the regular price will be Rs 3.799 million, the company said.
For customers seeking additional premium features the company has also introduced the VIGO E2 Plus which costs an additional Rs 8,00,000 and comes with a moonroof and R18 tyres.
The VIGO E2 is designed for daily city travel, family trips and long-distance journey. It features a spacious five-seat cabin a 2,715mm wheelbase and 572 litres of boot space.
Its features include heated and ventilated seats, memory seats, exterior speakers, a “Heaven and Earth” tailgate and DJI-powered advanced driver assistance systems.
The electric SUV is equipped with a 51.87kWh battery and a 99kW motor offering a claimed range of up to 350km under WLTP standards. It has 190mm ground clearance and supports DC fast charging of up to 167kW.
The company said the vehicle has also been tested across different terrains in Nepal including Manang, Mustang, Shuklaphanta and Salleri.
MAW Vriddhi Group Chairman Bishnu Kumar Agrawal said the revised price reflects the positive impact of the new national budget and aims to make the SUV more accessible to customers.
