Kathmandu [Nepal], August 24 – Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMB) has introduced a new small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) loan scheme targeting business owners and entrepreneurs at an annual interest rate of 5.75 percent.
Under the scheme, customers can access SME loans at the promotional rate which will remain fixed for one year.
The bank said the NIMB SME loan scheme launched under the slogan “Our Support for Hardworking Hands” is designed to provide financing based on the nature, requirements and capacity of businesses as well as the intended use of the loan.
The facility can be used for business expansion, working capital management, new investment and other business needs, according to the bank.
NIMB said entrepreneurs and business owners across the country can obtain information and services related to the SME loan through its network of 251 branches.
The bank said the scheme aims to strengthen its financial partnership with entrepreneurs and contribute to their business growth and prosperity.
The new lending facility comes as access to affordable financing remains important for small and medium-sized businesses seeking to expand operations, manage cash flow and make new investments.
