गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Breaking ∕ Timure flood cuts contact with police team Breaking Timure flood cuts contact with police team KathmanduPati August 26, 2026 Kathmandu [Nepal], August 26 – A police team deployed in Timure has gone out of contact following a sudden and massive flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa, authorities said. The Armed Police Force (APF) said its border outpost in Timure remains safe but communication with the personnel on duty has been lost after the river suddenly surged. APF joint spokesperson Shailendra Thapa said the flood in the Bhote Koshi river was unusually large and that authorities suspect the Timure area may have suffered significant damage. “The BOP in Timure is safe but we have not been able to get in touch with the team on duty,” Thapa said. He said efforts were underway to establish contact with the police personnel in the affected area and gather information about the situation. Authorities are closely monitoring the flood and assessing possible damage in Timure and surrounding areas as rescue and communication efforts continue.
