Shah is scheduled to leave for New York at 7 p.m. today to participate in the UN General Assembly. Before his departure, Shah recommended Wagle’s appointment as acting prime minister to President Ram Chandra Paudel. Based on the recommendation, President Paudel appointed Wagle as acting prime minister. Shah is scheduled to address the 81st UN General Assembly on September 24. He is scheduled to return to Nepal on September 26.
