Kathmandu [Nepal], September 8 – Israel has sought 1,464 Nepali workers to provide care for people with severe disabilities at long-term care facilities according to a notice issued by Nepal’s Department of Foreign Employment.
The demand includes 1,132 women and 332 men. Applicants must be at least 25 years old and not older than 45.
Eligible candidates can submit applications online from 12 midnight on Bhadra 23 until 11:59 pm on Ashoj 26, according to the department.
Selected workers will receive a monthly salary of 6,443.85 Israeli currency along with overtime benefits in accordance with Israeli government regulations.
Workers will be required to work 42 hours a week and will receive one day off each week. Annual leave will be provided according to Israeli law.
The employer will arrange accommodation but workers will have to cover the cost of housing themselves. Food will not be provided by the employer according to the notice.
The recruitment is aimed at supplying care workers for long-term care centres serving people with severe disabilities in Israel.
