A 71-member contingent led by Major Prabin Shrestha departed for the mission area on Tuesday to replace the 11th rotation of the Military Police Unit deployed under the UN mission. Meanwhile a 75-member Nepali peacekeeping contingent led by Major Suman Thapa, which completed its assignment with the mission returned to Nepal on Tuesday. The troop rotation is part of Nepal’s continued contribution to UN peacekeeping operations in the Central African Republic.
