गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Breaking ∕ Nepal rotates peacekeepers deployed in Central African Republic Breaking Nepal rotates peacekeepers deployed in Central African Republic KathmanduPati September 08, 2026 Kathmandu [Nepal], September 8 – Nepal has rotated its peacekeeping troops deployed under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA). A 71-member contingent led by Major Prabin Shrestha departed for the mission area on Tuesday to replace the 11th rotation of the Military Police Unit deployed under the UN mission. Meanwhile a 75-member Nepali peacekeeping contingent led by Major Suman Thapa, which completed its assignment with the mission returned to Nepal on Tuesday. The troop rotation is part of Nepal’s continued contribution to UN peacekeeping operations in the Central African Republic.
