The appointment comes after the Republican Party suffered a major setback in the midterm elections and is being viewed as a possible signal of a more aggressive policy direction under the Trump administration. Miller, 41, will replace Susie Wiles a close Trump ally, he played a central role in designing the administration’s mass deportation campaign during the president’s second term. The appointment has drawn criticism from Democratic leaders with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer opposing Miller’s hardline policies and vowing to challenge them. Trump, however praised Miller as a trusted and outstanding aide who had supported him from the beginning. He also indicated that further changes to White House staffing could follow. The appointment underscores Trump’s continued reliance on close allies to advance his political and policy agenda. Comments 0 Share your view on this story. Please keep it civil and respectful.
