Acting Chief District Officer Kiran Joshi said that all the nine local level schools will be reopened from Sunday after the District Administration Office handed over the responsibility of running the schools to the local level. “As there is no risk in Corona virus, we have given the responsibility of running the schools to the local level. The school will be open from Sunday,” he said. A meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee chaired by CDO Joshi on Saturday gave the responsibility of running the schools to the local level. Accordingly, the local level education committee has issued a press release and decided to open the school following the health standards from September 5. According to the Education Development Office, it has been decided to run all the community and institutional schools at every local level by fulfilling all the criteria related to health security against Corona. The administration has requested all to conduct classes at different times based on the number of students by adopting health standards while operating the school.
