Despite efforts to clear debris, continuous rain has affected repair work, said the Far West Province Police Office. A dozer is at work to clear debris since early morning today, it said. As a result of the obstruction, vehicles and passengers have been stuck midway, said the police. Meanwhile, the district administration office has urged the residents of the district to stay alert against flooding as rainfall continues for the past two days. Rivers in the district may get swollen anytime due to torrential rain increasing risks of flooding villages, said Chief District Officer Shankar Bahadur Bista.
