On the occasion, Prime Minister Deuba said that relief would be provided to the flood survivors on the basis of the damage incurred. He directed the local government to immediately collect the details of the survivors and make them available. Prime Minister Deuba’s team included Finance Minister Janardan Sharma and Tourism Minister Prem Ale. A total of 1,284 houses in Rajapur Municipality were inundated while 210 households in Geruwa Municipality were inundated due to the floods in Karnali River.
