Meteorologist Barun Poudel has stated that there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall across the nation until Friday due to the impact of the monsoon low pressure system. He added that “the rainfall will take place during morning and night. This is the pre-phenomena of the end of monsoon season. Normally, the monsoon season ends towards September 23.” Skies across the country have remained cloudy and some places of State-1, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim states have been witnessing light to moderate rain with lightning. Heavy rainfall has been forecast at one or two places in Gandaki state. As per the recent details of the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley has been recorded at 19.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature at 28.3 degrees Celsius.
