Giving a message of best wishes on the occasion of Tihar festival today, President Paudel wished peace, prosperity and happiness to all Nepali sisters and brothers living in the country and abroad. “Tihar bears mythological, cultural and scientific significance. It is the festival of lights. It is also called the Deepawali. Light itself is a symbol of inspiration,” President Paudel reminded in the message, adding that Nepal is rich in cultures which unite us despite diversity. According to him, the festival also shows inseparable relations between nature and human.
