Addressing a mass gathering organised at the district headquarters today, Chair Oli, who is in Gorkha today under the nationwide resolution campaign, said the government should not act slow on the Budhigandaki hydel project. “A big amount of compensation has already been distributed to the project-affected people. So, it must be expedited now,” the former Prime Minister insisted. He further said they had been prodding the government for the construction of the project. The UML Chair viewed that the people could not seize back the land acquired by the State for the project. “Problems should not be created in different pretexts”, shared Chair Oli. He also expressed dismay over slow construction of the Mid-Hill Highway. On a different note, Chairperson Oli urged all sides for making politics clean.
